Terry Richardson, a New York native raised here in Los Angeles, recently displayed his solo gallery labeled TERRYWOOD. The event was held at OH WOW gallery located in the heart of Hollywood and brought a mixed crowd of hipsters, models, and A-list celebrities. Being one of the most prolific yet controversial photographers of his generation, the show was inspired by his daily surroundings. His work ranged from beautiful, to kitschy, to grotesque, as the subject matter extended from models, to neon signs, and fast food burgers. Displaying 25 new pieces, Terry depicts both the successful and the broken dreams hollywood has to offer staying true to his raw style of photography. Terry Richardson has quickly become one of the most sought after photographers, along with being a cultural icon and American original.
